...if the sun melting your face off is fun, then I've had a great time!  I went down to southern California with the family to visit more family and nearly died when the sun came out, which seemed to be about 23 hours of each day.  During the one hour night it was considerably cooler, so only 700 degrees instead of 1000. I have a new level of respect for all you idiots who live down that way.  Traffic, heat, people, traffic, and no shopping bags at the store!!!  It's like living on Mars, just worse.  Other than all that though the trip was ok.  Went to the beach, went to the March Airfield Museum, spent the week just hanging out making fun of my sisters kids.  Who could ask for more.  I did take a few pictures of the museum and also some lego stuff at the Boise mall which are in the misc gallery.

I haven't updated in a while, the dog poem took everything I had until now.  I have been posting pictures though over the last few months, mostly of cakes my wife has made, dog pictures, and some other random things.  We had a particularly snow heavy winter this time around so I added some pictures of the snow around the house.

The wife also got a fortune cookie from Panda Express which was finally right on.  I have it taped to her monitor as a reminder that those ancient Chinese monks actually can get something right every now and then.

Doing well at work still.  I finally decided to get certified in Citrix and took (and passed of course) the Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA - V).  There is another one after that I'll probably try for and a few RES certs sometime soon, then I can stop again for a few years.

Other than that things are going pretty well.  I decided to lose some weight as a new years resolution and so far have lost around 22 pounds sine the beginning of the year.  I want to lose 50 total, so almost halfway.  Good times.

My daughter has had to write some poems for school.  One of them was about pets. I thought of one nice short one for the Chinese and Filipino community out there...

I love my dog...

Thank you!
